Cornerstone Associates

Assignment:

With multiple businesses employing more than 140 individuals with developmental disabilities, this established nonprofit’s image was in need of a refresh.

We modernized the primary Cornerstone Associates logo and created a cohesive identity system to apply across the organization — including Taylor Street Ovens, their flagship retail store. The result is elevated brand awareness with a clean and approachable style.

Woodcastle Furniture

Assignment:

Woodcastle makes the best solid wood furniture in the Pacific NW using locally sourced materials, timeless designs, and expert craftsmen, but their brand wasn’t telling the same story. We created a new branding system for Woodcastle that matches the understated elegance of their furniture and positions the company for continued growth.

Local Ocean

Assignment:

Local Ocean is synonymous with Newport, Oregon’s vibrant fishing community and restaurant scene. With significant growth to their operations and a recent expansion of the restaurant, Local Ocean needed a refined, fresh look to match the restaurant’s relaxed environment and exceptional food.

Reading the Pacific NW

Assignment:

Reading the Pacific Northwest is a project of OSU Libraries & Press, bringing memoirs and historical accounts from early Oregon settlers out of the archives and onto the web for the public to enjoy. We designed a website to allow visitors to read these works online, download PDFs, or order printed copies. We also designed a flexible system of book cover templates that identify each work as a part of the series.

    Assignment:

    With over $20 million in assets Benton Community Foundation (BCF) is a unique find in a college and agricultural community like Benton County, Ore., but just what does BCF do with that money? Our team set out to answer this question for BCF and tell the stories of those impacted by BCF’s philanthropy.

    Orange Media Network

    Assignment:

    Fresh off a name change, Orange Media Network needed a visual identity that would appeal to audiences inside and outside Oregon State University.

    In addition to the new branding package, we delivered recommendations for their family of media sub-brands to create a cohesive identity across applications for the web, TV, radio, and print.

    Build a fresh identity for this growing event rental company to match the high-quality services it provides to large and corporate clientele.

    We created an identity that’s like a beautifully wrapped gift: friendly, fun, and elegant. And the succinct tagline? We think it wraps things up quite nicely.

    Flag & Wire Coffee Co.

    Create a fresh and tasty brand identity for a new Pacific Northwest café and coffee roasting company.

    Jackson Street

    Assignment:

    Completely refresh this non-profit organization’s visual identity to be more approachable, friendly, and modern. The new organization name and identity system supports planned growth, community recognition, and increased effectiveness in reaching youth for many years to come.

    Luma America

    Assignment:

    With offices from Silicon Valley to Singapore, Luma America provides industrial-strength lighting products. We designed a fresh, intuitive website user experience that leverages their brand assets and identity and showcases their Resilient lighting brand.

    Our engagement also included designing case studies, white papers, and technical illustrations.

    Chamber of Commerce

    Assignment:

    Fresh off an organizational name change, the Corvallis Chamber of Commerce needed a visual identity to match their friendly and approachable style. Something business-casual, if you will.

    For the globe icon, our concept was derived from intersecting three circles, each representing one of the Chamber’s primary areas of focus: Innovation, Education, and Collaboration.

    Lumber to Legacy

    Assignment:

    Design a 20-page program for the City of Albany Parks and Rec department’s inaugural Lumber to Legacy fundraising auction.

    We had this pocket-sized publication offset-printed on a soft, cream-colored uncoated stock, giving the piece a tactile, memorable quality.

    OSU Outreach & Engagement

    Assignment:

    Create a series of four-page quarterly publications with University Outreach and Engagement which are inserted into Oregon State University’s Stater magazine, and also printed as stand-alone 11×17-inch brochures for the division to distribute around campus.

    Lucidyne Technologies

    Assignment:

    Create magazine ads and tradeshow displays to help position this northwest-based manufacturer of high-end lumber grading software and machinery as an established player in the lumber industry — and as a viable option to new and expanded markets.

    New Roots Housing

    Assignment:

    Create a friendly visual identity for a new nonprofit organization focused on helping low-income families buy their first homes.
