Linn Together is a community coalition working with partners, parents and teachers to improve behavioral health for rural youth around alcohol, drugs, and tobacco. The service area is a large county with varied demographics, including Spanish-speaking families, which ranges from small communities to larger towns. Thus the coalition’s mission to improve public health depends on finding unique ways to connect with a wide variety of rural audiences.
Linn Together came to MAC with two goals: to build long-term success by fostering collaborative partnerships and financial self-sufficiency, and to further their public health mission by preventing and reducing youth substance use. They needed a strategic partner to develop a distinctive, inviting brand; a robust website; and an ongoing series of large, educational media campaigns.
MAC has experience planning and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns with six-figure budgets, as well as significant technical capabilities in brand design and web development. We performed extensive research, facilitated large groups of stakeholders, and developed a comprehensive communications system empowering Linn Together to connect with rural audiences throughout the county with the messages and resources to improve public health.
As the coalition’s longstanding partner, MAC is helping Linn Together win grants, build partnerships, and advance its mission. From initial concepts and strategy through to media buying and execution, we’re empowering the coalition to distribute resources, shift perception, and address issues as they emerge, working with rural parents, partners, and youth to promote behavioral health in all of the communities of Linn County.
